How long does the screening take?
The screening takes 3-4 hours
Will I receive my results the same day?
No. The results will be ready between 7 – 10 working days

What if I fail the screening? Can I repeat it, and how soon?
If your screening is not cleared, you may be sent to a specialist for further assessment as the case may be, after which you will be required to repeat the screening process. The timeline will be dependent on the outcome of the assessment and, or the duration of your treatment
I'm on long-term medication. Could it affect my results?
This will be discussed with the physician during the screening, and you will be advised accordingly.
Can I make changes to my appointment once confirmed?
Cancellations: If you are unable to keep your appointment kindly inform us via email 5 days prior to the appointment date. You will be charged 50% of your fee. Any cancellations after that will be non – refundable.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to 2 working days before your scheduled appointment. Kindly notify us via email. You will be charged 25,000 to reschedule your appointment. Please note that rescheduling is dependent on appointment availability.

I am pregnant. How does this affect my screening
As part of your screening, the panel physician will enquire the date of your last menstrual period. Applicants under 14 weeks pregnant cannot undertake Chest X-rays. If over 14 weeks, you may choose to defer your Chest X-ray and therefore completion of your screening till after your give birth, OR proceed with the chest X-ray and screening after a detailed explanation of the associated risks and your (applicant’s) consent to proceed. Additional protection (double shielding) will be put in place for the Chest X-ray
What is a HAP ID and where do I get one
If your visa application was made online, your HAP ID will be in the referral letter downloaded when you applied. If you made a paper visa application your HAP ID will be in your Health Examination List (or equivalent document provided to you).
